Klapa Slavić was founded by the group of students from the Catholic theological faculty (Zagreb) to perform traditional Dalmatian klapa songs.

It consists of nine members (eight of whom are the students of the Catholic theological faculty): Maja Kljaković Gašpić, Danijel Deverić, Vedran Bonačić, Nino Kordić, Ante Buturić, Mislav Čaljkušić, Antun Končić, Ivan Zaradić and Vedran Mikulić.

They have performed at numerous music events, promotions, just to name a few: Evenings of mixed klapas at the Festival of the Dalmatian klapas in Omiš (2011), the opening ceremony of Varaždin baroque evenings, Festival of Advent and Christmas music in Prague (2011).

Klapa Slavić was officially founded in 2008, but this group of students started to meet spontanously and sing in the corridors of the Catholic theological faculty during in between the classes imagining that the narrow stairs are their volat and that the monotonous halls are small curved stone streets of Dalmatian little towns. That's how nostalgic they were.

Their first album Počinje plač/The cry begins containing Lenten and glagolitic chants was released by Laudato in 2012.
