Željka Marinović is one of the most outstanding musicians in the Christian music scene in Croatia.
She has won many prestigious music awards: the Croatian music award Porin in 2001 and 2009, Uskrsfest in 1995 (which was her first performance of Christian music) in 2005 (a duet with Čedo Antolić). She has performed at almost all the Christian music festivals: Marija fest, Uskrs fest, Kristfest, Krapinafest, Bonofest and Hvalospjev ljubavi. At the traditional Christmas concert in Cibona hall she performed for three times. Željka was a member of four band aids composed at occasions of pastoral  visits of the popes John Paul II and Benedict XVI to Croatia.

Her music is influenced by different music styles including Christian pop and soul music, but the message conveyed with it is deep universal love.  She has collaborated with many established musicians such as Toni Eterović and Čedo Antolić, who is the author of the most of Željka's songs and sings several duets with her.

Željka Marinović has four albums: Ljubav što ne prolazi/Everlasting love (1997), Hrvatske marijanske pjesme/Croatian Marian songs (1998), Želim Ti dati najbolje/I want to give you the best of me (2000) and Svjetionik/Lighthouse (2008).
